Church in the evening light, Akaroa, South Island, New Zealand
Going back slightly in my archives, I came across this. I like it because it is very different. When I took it, I looked around for something in front and luckily there were these red roses in the ground. I crouched down, so that the view was upwards and included the roses. Very interested in what you think!

Sorry but I think I would prefer it without the roses

The whole picture looks weird to me. The combination of harsh light on the church and the dark sky, not to mention the moon under the clouds makes it look to me like a poor composite. The roses in the foreground distract more than they help. Sorry to sound so negative but this one does not work for me.

OK it does look a bit weird. But weird is just another category. I think it does quite well in its weirdness. It could have used more space at the bottom. Could use some more processing to open shadows and lighten.

The flower at the right end alone might be doing well, but the other one is on the way of eyes to image...a bit disturbing....
