Always like a good reflection, especially one this peaceful.

Did you explore a crop to just below the far water edge and a bit tighter to the right rock edge? Just makes it simpler and more about the main subject.

I’m thinking a radical crop, leaving a panorama of just the rocks, birds, and strip of water, would look good. Always providing there would be enough detail to hold up to such a severe chop.

I'm tempted to leave the background as it is now, Joe; although possibly reduce the amount of bland sky by about a half and maybe a similar balancing amount from the left side?

    Nice clear scene.

Thanks Trevor, Nandakumar, Tom and Geoff. I chose grouping all replies together as my response is the same to all.
" I did consider cropping this shot in various ways. I did remove almost all of the foreground because there were unattractive bush which i could not avoid in taking the shot so I cropped and deleted as much as i could. I also considered removing the background cropping at various points. But in the end I wanted to keep the background as I felt it added context to the shot. I know the title is "Rocky Reflections" but I could (perhaps should) have called it "Rocky Reflections in Lake Ontario, Hamilton". Having said all that I agree the sky is quite bland and not helping the shot. I also would like to see if there is a way of giving the rocks a wet look. I think i have done that in the past; I will have to look-up how I did it. Thanks for all the comments.

Here is my take of a wet look for the rocks. I could not improve the sky, so I cropped about half of it off, and also a little from the left.
