More fire
No not California, but close enough. Fire started in our city of Ashland, Oregon and high winds swept it north along i5. Several structures in our rural neighborhood burned but wind direction kept it away from our home.
My mom in memory support in Medford, along with other residents and all staff, evacuated to grants pass super 8. They have returned safely.
Fires continue to rage, but for now hey are further north and our only lingering effect is smoldering and poor air quality (and no power).
This was looking out from moms memory support building before evacuation.

Re: More fire
The hot destructive frightening red light at the horizon and comforting, smooth white light in the foreground is a meaningful combination conveying the nature of the situation.

Re: More fire
It has an unreal feel to it. It captures the strain between what is and what may be. I like it a lot.

Re: More fire
The fire looks so near; actually how far away it is?
