    Mirror, Mirror

Reflection of an old building in a modern one.

I really like this image. There is a nice contrast between the wavy lines and the straight lines in the image. Now, a question. Did you have to do a lot of correcting for the verticals or was this done with a tilt shift lens?

    Nicely conceived and executed.

This is done with a regular lens and shot at a 100mm focal length with perspective correction in post. My shift/ tilt lens is 24mm, so not suitable for this shot.

I do have a shift /tilt adapter for the Hasselblad lenses for my Nikon body, so I need to get downtown with the 80mm lens and try to shoot this with it.

Fascinating contrast of old & new, regular grid & curves and simple & complex. I could study this for a long time and still find new things to see and admire.

I like it but can't help remarking that it is a good example of rule of thirds

Manfred, I never thought I'd say this but I do not like this image at all I find it overpowering and the shadows far too pronounced for my liking.
    Cheers Ole
