    Perception

I am slowly getting used to having people around while out shooting, having moved from an environment where most of the time I was the only person for miles and could go hours without seeing anyone. I have been pleasantly surprised how considerate and interested people are in what I am doing. Two older ladies (actually they could have been younger than me, but still) stopped on their walk having seen me standing in one spot peering at a tree. They were intrigued, actually thanked me for bringing this to their attention as they would have walked by and never had this enter their consciousness. I found that quite rewarding.

I may never become an extravert as a result, but maybe my intraversion is a bit eroded.

Nice engaging image and an interesting side story to go with it. All that red, especially the back-lit leaves are very effective. The colour contrast from the green leaf and the hot spot on some of the red ones really pull the viewer into this image.

Photographers certainly look at things in a different way than most people and when we point out what we find interesting people do tend to notice things that they have never done before.

I'm a reasonably functioning introvert too and I am a solo shooter. When I get into "the zone" I tend to be oblivious to others near me.
