From a trip to the East Neuk
For reasons that have nothing to do with C**** or any other health matter, I haven't been active here for a bit but I finally managed to get out a couple of days ago. I drove to a favourite area, the East Neuk of Fife, starting with a warm-up walk round Culross and ending at Elie with the aim of photographing the Lady's Tower.
I have more than 50 images of Culross, and was on the look out for something that caught the eye but was not necessarily typical of the village. This one perhaps?

Here are two of the Lady's Tower:
A follow-up trip is planned at a time that will catch the full tide.
C&C welcome

Re: From a trip to the East Neuk
The image quality is very good but I wonder if some slightly different crops would have even more impact.
With the first image, the right side is out of focus; so why have it there?
With the other two, do you need quite so much foreground? Not any serious differences though, just a slight reduction.

Re: From a trip to the East Neuk
Thanks for the feedback Geoff
With the third image,I wanted to include the reflection of the tower but without question, cropping some of the foreground makes for a much better image - thanks for pointing this out.
In the second I wanted to include the horizontal rock layers and the suggestion of their being steps up to the tower - I do have a crop that cuts them out but on balance preferred them in.
In the first the objective was to isolate the flower ...
