This shot is a focus blend of 2 shots: The first focused on the girl in the foreground, the second on the crowd in the background. The shots were handheld. Before blending I cloned out the group in the background as they were moving and would cause a blur in the blend. The girl in the foreground remained fairly still so did mot cause a problem.

It's a good shot Joe, although I'm not sure if focus stacking was strictly necessary. Regardless, you have good sharpness throughout the image.

The only suggestion I have is that you might want to consider taking a bit off the top. That hot, bright area is a distraction and removing it might work better.
