I think you image is somewhat over-sharpened which confuses the crater detail in the lower quadrant of the image.
Rather than work on a single capture my technique with moon photography is to take multiple images (usually 10), and then, rather than sharpen individual frames, I stack and align them first to remove random noise.
Starting from the second layer I reduce the opacity of each layer successively by 50%,33%,25%,20%,17%,15%,13%,11%,10%.
I then collapse/merge the stack to a single layer and only then adjust brightness, contrast etc and apply sharpening.
Blending the opacity stack removes random noise and reduces the impact of atmospheric aberations which always present over multiple exposures.
