Fungus on a lens
I have a quite an expensive lens that seemingly developed a fungal problem overnight.
That was a few years ago though now and I put it away.
Is it cost effective to get it cleaned? (in the UK)

Re: Fungus on a lens
Update: Lehman's quoted £200 as the coating is damaged so the optic will have to be changed.
Not to bad considering

Re: Fungus on a lens
Hi Rob, I've used Lehma's when the tube on one side of my Canon Twin flash went. Replacement cost would have been around £1200.
Lehman's charged £250 for a repair which was essentially a replacement of the tube set and athe electronics.
Fast service too!!

They are only about 10 mins drive from me James and I use them for repairs and servicing.
The have a studio with an infinity curve next to the repair shop if you do studio work. Well worth hiring
