    Ho! Ho! Ho! When is she coming?

    Having a hard time with this, the dogs smile is very cute but the rest of the photo isn’t working for me .

    +1 to Sharon's comment. The whole right side of the image is quite distracting and takes away from the subject (the dog).

    Maybe, slightly tone down the highlights on that figure inside the shop and do you need to see so much of the right side sign ?

    I think there is a good image to be had here. It just needs a slight bit more work.

    There are lots of things going on in the shop and the dog is left out. That is the subject to my mind.

    That may be the case, Ole, but you need to craft that message into an effective image. Right now you have an image of a dog on the left hand side and the bright areas, especially the writing that draw the viewer's eyes away from the dog. The strange angle due to camera position does not help either.
