Old Factory on the Tammerkoski Channel, Tampere, Finland

This is another B&W image taken in the downtown area of Tampere, Finland's old industrial district. The rapids on the channel connecting two lakes have long been a source of power for the factories. As power needs increased, the water power was replaced by steam.

I really like the balance of this one, and the clouds provide a nice counterpoint to the hard edges and monolithic surfaces of the industrial complex.
