cute light

I found a cute light and capture it. I think blue is good accent.

The main subject is close to the border and directing the viewer's attention to outside.... if the lamp shade were more towards the top it should have been better. I like the colour combination of grey and blue.

Definitely an interesting image; nice and simple and that works well.

From a composition standpoint, this image is heavily weighted to the bottom left corner and much of the top and right hand sides do not contribute a lot to the overall composition. The lighting is quite harsh and that does work with the "brutalist" view of the building(?).

If it were my image, I would crop part of the top off, probably to where the dark line intersects with the corner an I would locally lighten (dodge) the light fixture on the bottom left hand corner to add more interest.

I should be careful about the position of the subject. The light is too close to the edge of the photo.

I'm still not sure if it's a light or a camera without seeing the context of its placement. Not that it makes any difference to the image, only its title. Look forward to seeing more of your photos. Daniel
