Newbie from the land downunder

Hi all
As you can see I am from the "Lucky Country"- Australia.
Been into photography since the mid 70's with first SLR a cheap Praktica. Being fully manual (you need to be really old to remember this) so had to learn everything the hard way.
Moved up to Minolta, then in late 80's a Chinnon with the best thing since sliced bread- auto focus.
Now in digital age started with Canon 350d and now I love the 80d.
Always willing to learn so will follow this forum with great interest as I still consider myself to be very average at best and hopeless at post processing.
Aeroplanes and landscapes are my primary interests.

My first and only SLR was a Praktica MTL3 so that's how I learned too. Currently shooting a raw-only Sigma SD9 and still in manual ... Not many of us left.
