I'm revisiting some of my shots from the summer of 2017 when the French La Machine organization had two of their giant wooden robots marching around downtown Ottawa. One of the human operators can be seen through the mouth, beside the tooth.

But it gives scale to the machine...

Not really. I have enough high quality images that could be turned into a book. The main reason for the redo is that my PP skills have improved a lot over the past three years.

I would have liked to have seen the entire creature. It must be very heavy since it's made of wood. I'm also curious about what is in its nostrils and its purpose. Not sure if the person in the image serves any purpose for scale or otherwise. You can tell it's big.

The person serves no other purpose that being something that the viewer notices, The nostrils shoot out jets of steam occasionally.

I didn't imagine it was that big even with the person providing scale. I like the full scene with the operators and onlookers. The beast looking directly at the camera is perfect. Thank you for posting.
