    Madrones reaching

I/We hike our dogs quite a bit in the Ashland Watershed lands. Some great hikes and good workouts. (too bad leash laws aren't obeyed by so many people, but that's a different subject LOL).
This is a trail called White Rabbit. (themed after the Alice in Wonderland stuff).
I do feel some tonal or WB adjustments are needed and the sky isn't what I would like.

Sharon - you seem to be pushing this image too hard in post.

There are noticeable artifacts in the sky, the blue in the mountains is over the top and the fine details in the leaves and ground look positively "crunchy".

You are right man Fred, I need to stay away from some of the auto adjustments I have in Lightroom. I’m not one who likes to over process, so thank you for your comments

    +1 to that, Sharon.

Also, the exif has been stripped out by something.

There is a lot of color pixelation in the sky.

I think we all go through the stage where we push images really hard as we try to determine the look we want to achieve. In the end, while it takes more time, subtlety give you a far stronger image. Unfortunately, the problem with pushing sliders is that they apply the effects globally.
