Re: Peaceful Night
Hello Raymond: I took a look at your flicker photos. I liked your series of women wearing masks very much. The eyes were very expressive and engaging. Were they all hospital workers? That's the impression I got with the brick building in the background. Your peaceful night image though peaceful lacks impact for me. Regards, Daniel

No Daniel, this is a project of collecting these images from everyday people and to create a piece of art for a gallery in Aspen."Hidden Faces"

Re: Peaceful Night
The white balance in this image is off quite a bit; that yellow / orange colour cast looks like a daylight setting when something like tungsten would have likely been closer.
This image just isn't doing anything for me. The problem with night shots is often that they are very high contrast and a lot of subtlety is lost in the shadows.

Re: Peaceful Night
I agree with Manfred that the white balance needs to be changed to remove the yellow/orange cast. Also vertical lines always remain vertical in perspective drawings and so the columns should all be vertical. As you are square onto the front of the building the horizontal fascia board should be horizontal. It slopes down to the left hand side. I would clone out the red/white post in the foreground and probably crop out much of the dark foreground

Re: Peaceful Night
I will revisit these captures and make some adjustments to see what I come up with.
