From Tokyo, Japan
As the title suggests, I come from Japan although I was born and grew up in Australia. I have resided here for over 30 years and am now a full Japan citizen. I am no professional when it comes to photography - far from it, but I have been blessed with owning a Canon EOS Kiss X6i plus a EFS 18-135mm lens. I also have a very old Canon Macro EF-S 60 mm which I haven't used in years but I pray still is usable as I want to try and take some macro photos in the very near future. The photos which I have taken to date are usually for congregational needs - celebrations, flowers and scenery. These I have used in various ways but, of late, mainly for our homepage and blog. I still have lots to learn about photography and I thank you for allowing me to join you here.
Regards,
Sister Sabina

"I am no professional when it comes to photography"
None of us on here are (or very few make money from photography), although we strive to demonstrate professional attitudes and actions in our work. And, of course, we strive to make professional quality images.
So, ask any questions you have, queries that you cannot find the answer to, etc. We all were in exactly the same position as you are in now, once upon a time.
Welcome.

Re: From Tokyo, Japan
Hi, Sister Sabina.
I too have been living in Japan for years, but I was originally from Indonesia. I used to go to St. Ignatius church in Yotsuya before the pandemic.
I hope you're fine there, and welcome to the forum.
