A security guard at a covid-19 vaccine site in the Bronx. Took this shot while online. Tried some filters and got some interesting effect but decided to just leave it as is, uncropped original.

This is our "Drive-Through" vaccination site located in the parking lot of the San Diego baseball stadium, Petco Park. Given a sufficient supply of Moderna Vaccine, this site is capable of administering 5,000 vaccinations daily...
My wife and I were quite impressed with the efficiency of this site. Unfortunately, lack of vaccine supplies has caused this site to shut down, sometimes for days. Luckily, Judy and I received our two vaccine shots before the lack of supplies hampered operations. BTW: we were requested not to photograph the actual administration of the shots...
I shot these with my iPhone...

Looking at those photos makes me glad I had mine in a Hospital facility. The important thing is to get the shot. The people at the facility I went to were all super nice.
We have had a few drive-in sites here, but they seem less sensible in cold climates, at least until late spring. People people often drive with coats on, and the line would have to stop while they wrestle them off.
I got both a test and my first shot through our health-care system. The test was done in a drive in site, but they are doing all of their vaccinations indoors, at least for now.
I thought about how inconvenient this type of drive through site would be in a cold climate. It was (if I remember correctly) somewhere between 60 and 70 degrees F. on the days that we got our vaccinations. We wore short sleeves and it was a snap to get vaccinated.
It took about 45-minutes from the time we arrived at the site until we left with the vaccine in our arms...
A great advantage to a drive through site in nice weather is that we didn't need to come near anyone except the person giving the vaccinations.
Thank you for saying so, Sharon. The decorative screen runs from the atrium's skylight to a pool of water on the ground floor. Very nicely designed interior. I took this with my iPhone 7. Sometimes I think my next camera is going to be a phone. It's always available, and it doesn't attract attention. Thanks again, Daniel
