Polka Dot Plant
I haven't taken many pictures in the last few month. Too busy or too much stress or whatever reason, the inspiration just hasn't been there until a few days ago when this plant sitting on the window sill caught my attention.
I forgot to use my polarizer to reduce glare on some of the leaves and so I had to do it in pp. I would say that the end result is somewhat passable. In any case, I think that my camera will start getting more use that it has lately.
C & C always welcomed.

Re: Polka Dot Plant
Nice image, i like it; i am also thinking of a black backdrop, backlighing on the plant from bottom upwards at a slight inclined angle along with front light ... i am not sure, just visualizing.....

Re: Polka Dot Plant
Thank you Nandakumar.
I have frequently used black backgrounds with pictures of flowers as it creates a more dramatic effect. It did not work well with this plant because the edges of the petals are too dark making it difficult to have good separation from the background.
