Take a swing on the old oak tree

on a fun walk along trails in a senior community development in Ashland with one of the dogs, and I spotted this tree. Just love the oaks out here.

Really nice picture, such places are wonderful and more and more missing in fast moving world. Nicely captured. Sad but somehow positive.

Did you take a swing? I am sure that for me it would be hard to resist :-D

Thank you, and you are right, pavement is replacing many beautiful places. Suburban sprawl. Luckily, while it is happening in Ashland, OR it is on a smaller scale than say Medford the City to the North.
I would have taken a swing on it absolutely, but I had our 76 pound bag of muscle with me (our male field lab). LOL. Very close by, so who's to say I won't someday.
