    printing thumbnails

I store all my RAW files on an independent HD I print thumbnails of these and file these in a ring binder
Some times I may only have 12 thumbnails. is there any way that I can print the next 12 or 15 thumbnails on the same sheet. I use Elements 2018, CS2 and Pictures on a Windows10 PC The printer is a Canon MG 5750
    Thanking you

I take it you're printing A4? Do you print with captions?

Perhaps a Viewer app can make that kind of print ("contact sheet"). I have FastStone, XnView and PhotoMechanic, I'll look at them.

P.S. just realized that you want to re-use a previously printed sheet - might not be quite so easy ...

Yes Ted I want to print below a couple of lines of thumbnails. ie. printing with a wider top margin.

    Found these:

    https://www.ilovefreesoftware.com/03...ct-sheets.html
    http://www.codedcolor.com/en/codedcolor.pdf (section 6.2)

If you can't see an app that can increase the top margin in a contact sheet, another way could be to create dummy all-white no-caption images to not print in the top two rows of thumbnails.

FastStone viewer can increase the top margin.

But first, an example conventional sheet:

    printing thumbnails

Then with a bigger top margin:

    printing thumbnails

Then with the inconvenient folder name removed:

    printing thumbnails

So the third image could be printed on the existing paper sheet or merged with the original in an editor and re-printed. You'd want to paint over the contact sheet thumbnail too.

Have fun and stay well ...

If your app prints headers or footers for the dummies, try deleting all the metadata from them.

Photoshop has had a contact sheet function (including ability to control the number of rows / columns) ever since I can remember. It is currently found under the <File> <Automate> menu item. CS2 is so old (came out is 2005), so who knows if it is there and what functionality it has.
