Red & White - Part 2

This is my first cut at at another image using red food colouring and glassware. It's not quite as polished as I think it needs to be.

This is a blend of three shots; the funnel with the red food colouring. I added the glass stopper with another image and finally a front-lt view of the clamp and rod.

The image appears to be perfectly composed
Yet i feel the over brightness of the white prevents the eyes from observing the image's aesthetics for long
Using a separating funnel is a novel idea- at least, i have not seen this before
I liked your idea to include a hanging drop at the bottom of the funnel

Very imaginative and very nice outcome, Manfred. This is my third comment on these images. Must have a try at something myself. Now to find the right gear??

I am not totally satisfied with the balance of the original posted image. I've cloned out the support structure and have just the funnel with food colouring left.
