    Taken over last few days at Barston Lakes near Birmingham UK Still quite cold and not much activity yet.

    I have also been finding insects a bit thin on the ground so far this year, and those which are present seem to be very flighty.

    I did get a Dotted Bee-fly a couple of days ago but it was a rather distant shot and there were many failures because two of them were chasing each other around and not settling for long enough to focus.
