Lost my best friend today...

Holly, my Goldendoodle, and I have shared our lives for over 13-years. She has been a very healthy dog but, when she developed kidney failure, she went downhill fast. She couldn't eat and when she did eat, she vomited. She was listless and appeared confused at times. As much as I loved this girl, it was time to let her go to wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge...



We had a vet come to the house to euthanize her. She hated the vets office and we did not want to traumatize her... She will always be in my heart...

My condolences Richard, we lost two old rescue greyhounds in similar circumstances. Their memories remain, I will I suspect for ever. Fly high Holly.

My darling goldendoodle will never be replaced in my heart. However, I was watching my 6-month old Great Pyrenees rescue puppy joyously play in my yard with a knotted piece of rope and I realized that life goes on and the most important factor is the good life and happiness I give my dogs; not the happiness my dogs give to me. I get my happiness from giving and being with these wonderful dogs; My giving is always returned with abundnt love....
