Four spot chaser (I think)

At rest on a stem. Tried hard to capture one on the wing, but no joy !

David, nice capture. I'd say you are correct... If not then I didn't get one yesterday!

Catching them on the wing is not the easiest. I have tried in the past with some limited success though not with this species. I try to work out the flight pattern and in particular where they tend to hover. Problem is always an issue of distance and reaction time.
But I still keep trying.... no doubt I'll waste a bit of time trying again this season!
