Stark, Mysterious. Cold. Hostile.
Presentation fits the subject matter beautifully. In my book that's called creative talent. With a good title and the presentation being thought about in the context of the subject, the viewer is told a story. But not so much that it removes the need for that viewer to engage with the image and add their own interpretation.
I do like this image. Can't really say more than Donald. Well captured and processed.
Thanks Peter.
I must go back to Orford - haven't been there since I was in Cambridge. It's such a bleak alien landscape. I wasn't into photography then. Your forgot to mention that the National Trust look after it now, which rather takes the bite out of it's jaws.

Yes, an excellent image, Mike, excellent composition and alternative treatment. Well done.
Now the secret is well and truly out Rob!!
I could spend days there and still not run out of photographic opportunities. The only problem is that wifey would want to tag along and stay at the nearby Crown and Castle Hotel run by the 'Hotel Inspector' Ruth Watson. Very, very good but not cheap.
I appreciate your comments.
