    Get Well Bouquet

The mid morning sun filtered by thin clouds provided the light for this photo of a flower arrangement taken against a shaded cedar hedge. I dodged the background slightly to bring out a bit of its texture.

Nice "painterly" still-life image with really good lighting.

Interestingly, the pretty colors are all from the top/right of the additive hue circle (red through yellow to green) except for a couple of purplish-blues.

The brightly-lit frond at lower left draws my eye slightly.

Lovely colours Andre. I find that the crop is a bit tight, especially at the top.

    Thanks Ted and Manfred.
I must give credit for the lovely colours to the flower arranger.
Ted. I did not burn the frond to keep it from blending into the background.
Manfred, you might be right. I will explore different crops as I have plenty of background cedars on all sides in the original raw file.
