Very nice, I especially like the connection you captured in the 1st deer photo, they always seem to be on alert.
I'm not sure about where you are, but the deer here around us can be very "aggressive". Our male lab gets all excited if on a hike and he sees one, and will bark like crazy. We've had deer charge at us before because of this.

You probably know that the first sparrow is an immature, I imagine this year's brood, and the second an adult female.
Of the deer photos, the first one works for me with the eye contact engagement, the second not so much
Thanks Dave. Yes I was aware of the immature sparrow - something connected to the state of the hedge as we missed getting the early season trim done before nesting time and it had to wait . I agree with you and Sharon on the deer shots but the poses were up to the deer!
