UK Meteorology Photo Competition
Hello All,
At WeatherNet, a UK based company, we are starting to create our 14th corporate calendar. It is growing increasingly popular and receives much praise from our clients to whom they are dispatched free of charge.
I am looking for photographers to submit their photos of UK based phenomenon or effect - the more obscure the better. In the past we have had sundogs, snow rollers, storms and all sorts of clouds. With meteorology the sky is the limit!
Full copyright will remain with the author, and there is prize money for the winners! First prize is £100, second prize is £50, and all other chosen entries will receive £20. All winners will also receive a calendar dispatched once they have been printed.
Rules of the competition
• Photos must have been taken in the UK
• Older photos are just as welcome as more recent ones.
• No limit to the number of photos you can enter and entries are accepted all year round.
• Winners agree to WeatherNet featuring their photos on our website and in our calendar. Full copyright remains with the author.
• If your photograph is selected, we’ll contact you to obtain a high-resolution copy and will organise payment along with a copy of the calendar once they’ve been produced.
• Winners will be announced during the Autumn.
If you would like to submit a photograph, we would love to see them in this thread (although we might get in contact with you to ask you to submit to our competition page if we love them), or you can use the form on our webpage
www.weathernet.co.uk/photocompetition.php
or email us at
photos@weathernet.co.uk.
---- Please do include when and where the photograph was taken, as well as your current contact details (if sending us an email)! ----
If you have any questions you can let me know in this thread, or you can email me directly at benedict@weathernet.co.uk to get more information.
Good luck!
Benedict
