A landscape photographer that I studied under suggested to me that a panorama should have an aspect ratio that is no wider than 3:1, otherwise it becomes too hard for the viewer to process it. While this is a nice way to document the scene, I find that the left third of the image is really the most interesting part, so I would concentrate on that.
+1 to Donald and Manfred's comments
It looks a terrific scene, but the image is very small for me to see I am afraid. Can you link to a hosting site instead ?
Yes of course, here's a link
Shades of the long defunct APS system, too:
"P for "Panoramic" (30.2 × 9.5 mm; aspect ratio 3:1; 4×11" print) (1.36 crop compared to 36x24mm full frame)"

At the risk of stating the obvious ( and it wasn't obvious to me the first time I did a panorama) if your shots to start with are portrait mode, not landscape, and you limit yourself to say 5, then you won't have such a letterbox shot
It may be gorgeous but we just can't see it like you did when you stood there ...
