Dock Bugs are sometimes known as Squashbugs, which is a general term applied to the Coreidae group. So, strictly speaking, they are not shieldbugs which is a term applied to several shieldbug families.

Only just found them Jim they are in a hedge of blackberries and nettles near the airport where i go see them every time i go there now
