    New England marsh in autumn

Another drone shot, this of a marsh in Lanesborough, MA.

It's only a first edit; e.g., I haven't clone out the power lines yet, and the tonal adjustments were quick. If it's worth posting on my public site, I'll do a second round next week when I have access to my good monitor.

This already looks very good Dan. It certainly is worth putting the efforts on the final touch.

Nice shot. Your composition for landscapes is improving; this is a nice scene.

The only thing that jumps out at me is that very top right side that is bright. I suspect burning that down might be worthwhile.

Thanks, Andre and Manfred. Re that area on the top right: it was extremely bright, but I didn't want to crop it off because that would have made the top left too tight. I actually have two layers burning that area already, but I can tone it down more when I re-edit.

I'm still feeling my way with the drone camera. I think I've been spoiled by Canon's superb color science. I'm used to not having to do much with color. These shots take a lot more work, with selective (by color) desaturation and saturation.

Rather than tone it down , you could clone the darker trees immediately below it.

Thanks. Interesting idea. I’ll try it when I’m back at my real computer.
