This spider set up his harp. He feels the strings and when it rings he dashes out and investigates. We moved him onto an orchid but he only stayed for 1 day and went elsewhere.

VOTING open on Themed Competition #12

VOTING now OPEN - until Saturday evening UK time

Voting is open to any member.

    Just send me (Dave Humphries) a Private Message (PM);
State your favourite three photographs in '1st, 2nd, 3rd' order by "V number" reference.

All entrants are encouraged to vote (but not for themselves )

68 entries - another record I think (although sadly; two I am not seeing a pictures for) - for new people:- it really does pay to PM a mod if you're having trouble posting pictures.

Thanks to everyone that entered and good luck from me,

    Sisters rule, ok!

You're in good company there, Al.

Well done to you three (and everyone else). There were some amazingly creative, artistic and high qaulity images in here.

    Katy

Is she still speaking to you?

Excellent win. A very vibrant shot with lots of impact. I have to say that the exposure (on my calibrated monitor) looks perfect.

Well done also, to Suzanne and Al.

OH! This is embarrassing but very happy!

Thanks, Guys! and, thanks Donald and Rob - your praise means an awful lot!

Rob, of course! We have absolutely no idea what a grudge is - even when we argue - which, in this case, we didn't! I just can't wait to call her - she's in California and it's really too early, still. What a good giggle this will be!

Thanks, Donald, definitely an honor to be placed with these shots. Congratulations to Katy and Suzanne for some outstanding images. Naturally, I'm thrilled to be in the top 3

Re: Winners of Themed Competition #12

I finally got a hold of Suzy and she's pleased as punch (as they say.) She asked me to thank everyone and to congratulate them, too, for so many great entries - which I'm doing for both of us. (She's gone to California for the week and will come and say so, herself, when she's back.)

I think that it's great how we didn't all just plunk in entries to be competitive but that we loved the theme, were challenged and had a lot of fun working on it! VERY !

    Worthy winners! Congratulations to you.

So when do we find out what Katy's choice of theme is? (I'm waiting patiently)

Three very worthy winners. The standard this month was so high that it was quite hard to make a 1, 2, 3, selection. But then I say that every month.

    Thanks, Raylee, Kit and Chris!

The theme? I have NO idea, yet! (if you have any ideas - let me know!) I'm working on it, though.

That's cheating! But for no particular reason, bits of wood on frozen water seems as good an idea as any!
