Well captured, and more importantly, a poignant picture.

    Thank you.

I originally posted cropped version but decided to post the original uncropped image.

Thank you, Sharon. I did a sky replacement and it darkened his hat and the top two stars on the flag he is holding. Still needs work. This is my crop for the second image. I think it's better. The empty chairs add to the story. The Old Marine and the Boy Scouts.

I much prefer the uncropped image because the empty chairs tell the story. In the cropped version there are only a couple of chairs.

Crop is a little too tight IMHO

Just a wee bit of his cap, unfortunately. It was quickly framed and shot. The crop is looking tight to me as well. In this instance, after trying several crops, I will leave this image as originally framed. Thanks again, Sharon

I wish that I could fit into my old uniform. I gained a couple of inches since I last wore it in 1989...

    Re: Veterans Day

This is what I wear now, instead of my old uniform. I asked "Omar the Tent Maker" if he could fit the uniform to my new girth and he said, "Even Allah could not perform that miracle!"

    Veterans Day

This was a few years ago when I was Marshal of the San Diego, CA, Veteran's Day Parade. It was shot in front of the sailing ship, Star of India, along the Embarcadero.
