    Droplets

    Hi All,
I haven't posted for a while but since I started plying with my new macro lens I have regained enthusiasm.

This is water squirted through a fine needle and syringe onto a cdrom previously polished with rainex so that the water forms tiny beads. Side lit, 15 shot focus stacked, clean up and noise reduction in photoshop. All comments and suggestions welcome.

    Droplets

    Well that is not working.

If you are trying to upload an image file from your computer it is probably too big.

The best way to post images is to use an external hosting site like Flickr (you can get a basic account free) and either:

post the image link via the Insert Image box

    or

simply post the BBCode (from the "share" tab on Flickr) directly into your post

    Hopefully that has fixed it

Well done! One comment is that the shadow details are so dark that you are losing some of the subtlety in the image. If this were my shot, I would open up the shadows a bit to bring those out.

+1 to Manfred's edit. There is more of a 3D feel to it.

    Re: Droplets

Many thanks for the feedback and encouragement and I completely agree about opening up the shadows, adds much more of a sense of depth
