    Anybody here shoot snowflakes?

    I happened across this article today:

    It said:

    "Photographer Nathan Myhrvold created stunning, never-seen-before high-resolution photos of snowflakes"

    His pics are very nice indeed, but I was bothered slightly by "never-seen-before" because I remember seeing similar images in books when I was a kid - over 70 years over and film resolution was pretty good even back then.
