This is an open-themed competition that is open to all CiC members.

ENTERING. Add your image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). Only one entry per person. For help posting images, go here.

VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 2 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.

Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

Notes: Please do not request feedback or comment on other images until after voting has closed, as it could be unfair to other entrants. Photos must be your own, and never entered into one of our prior competitions. We also ask that only recently taken or edited photos be used as entries (in the spirit of motivating everyone to continually improve).

I just joined. The guide says that a link to a photo is completely acceptable. Does this link not work for you?

As you have it, the image is not visible without clicking on the link.
You should post it like this "{img}http://www.seajazz.net/Sunrise-17Jun21%20(21).jpg{/img}" without the quotation and replacing { by [ and } by ] to display the image in line.

Nope - like before: only if you click on it.

Go back and edit your post: delete the image location; and then type:

[ img]http://www.seajazz.net/Sunrise-17Jun21%20(21).jpg[/img ]

but don't type the two spaces I put, the one after the first left square bracket and the other before the last right square bracket ...

... if you leave out those two spaces, your image will come straight up without us having to click on the URL (image address).
