This is a MONOCHROME mini competition and it is open to all CiC members. It has an 'open' theme - any subject at all.
Post your MONOCHROME (B&W) image in a new post below. Please change your post title to a name for your picture) (Click the "Go Advanced" button). Tinted images utilizing ONE colour are allowed. Colour images will be deleted.
When we get 10 images a Mod will attach a voting poll, and any member may vote on it.
After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared.
Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.
If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread and copy this text.

Please do not request criticism and comment (C&C) on your images when entering this competition as it could be unfair on other entrants

Well done Richard. Another 'top-of-the-podium place'.
You know, it's great fun having a moderating role in these mini comps (this Mono Mini and the other Mini), because you do take time to look at all the images a second and a third time.
And though I've said it before on isolated occasions in relation to individual threads, it really is something to celebrate when you see the overall quality of work that is presented. And with no disrespect to the members of longer-standing (the standard of whose work is well-known and respected), our site and these mini comps have been greatly enhanced by the rapid infusion of new blood that's taken place over the past few months.
It's great to see all you folks now right in there as part of CiC. I hope you're enjoying being part of it. We really have a web presence that we can be proud of being involved with.
It all bodes well for the future.
