    Neat Image question

What is the difference between the levels of programs?

Neat Image 32-bit for Windows is available in several editions:
    $29.90 Home edition; $49.90 Home+ edition; $59.90 Pro edition; $74.90 Pro+ edition
I'm leaning toward the Home+ edition. I would seldom have use for batch processing.

    Hi Pops,

I started with Home + and it should be fine.

If you do ever need to upgrade, you only pay (roughly) the difference, so there's no downside to starting off with Home +.

There naming scheme means you need a "+" version to work as a plug-in to whatever your image editor is; e.g. Elements, CS, (or many others are supported).

Home is 8 bit, Pro is 16 bit, plus unlimited batching (which I never use)

You may find this and this useful, their website can be a bit confusing, it took me 5 minutes to find the feature map and I knew it was there, somewhere

Have you tried the Demo version yet?
I can't remember how "limited" its functionality is though.

    Cheers,

I let you guys try the "limited" versions first.

I'm not sure the plugin is going to be useful, as I'm still back in PS7 and PSE 7 days.

The primary reasons I'm considering it is your recommendations and to use it on students' works.
