    Lovely face. I would lighten the eyes a tad and also under her nose.

    I agree with Ole - you need more light up under the hat. For a shot like this, I use two different light sources; a key (main) light to light up the face and a second fill light to push light under the hat and under the chin. There don't have to be active lights as reflectors often work.

    I see a couple of different catch lights in the eyes, so it looks like there is more than one light source in use already.

    I like the friendly feeling I get from this portrait. I agree that there shadows under the hat brim and around the eyes should be reduced. However, this is a pretty simple task. What I would like to learn is how to reduce the somewhat awkward (to me at least) wrinkles between the neck and shoulder...
