    Seasonal

My camera club ran an open "meet up with another member and take some seasonal photographs" the other week. The weather was dreadful, a strong, cold, blustery wind, bursts of rain, and occasional breaks in the cloud that changed the light from dark to bright.

Nonetheless it was good to get out and about with the others and click the shutter a few times. Here are a few from the day.

Bill Hope you don't mind comments. With the first one, I would prefer the cross piece of the memorial not to line up with the top of the wall. Apart from that all OK. You've got a lot more snowdrops than we have.

Thanks Roy - yes I absolutely agree with the comment on the cross piece. As we are all only too well aware there are a lot of trade-offs in photography and here it was the exposure/detail in the inscription that won - but it would have been better to go with a different view and work on the lettering in post.

Should have added that to me the main point of posting here is for the comments, or as I prefer to call them, "the opportunities for improvement" but I've been posting long enough that the "C&C welcome" text has got lost in the mists of time
