    Colour Spaces

    PhotoPXL has an interesting video on colour spaces. While the emphasis is on printing, the explanations and underlying information applies to images that we process and show in other devices as well. While there is some level of "tech" involved it is easy enough for the lay audience to understand.

    One of the presenters is Jeff Schewe, who is highly respected in the industry and was responsible for the Lightroom sharpening algorithms (along with the late Bruce Fraser).

    Thanks for the link. French-speaking listeners will fall off their seats when Schewe tells Dan Steinhardt how to pronounce the full name of the CIE ...

    Yes, he does butcher the French pronounciation in a quaint, American way...
