I wonder about cropping a bit from the right side to reduce that heavy looking black patch. Maybe a touch from the left side as well? Perhaps end up square or 5 x 4 ratio? 4 x 5 ratio might be a fraction too tight?

I like this a lot. I agree that it woyld help to crop, more on the left because the large amount of empty space on the left leaves it unbalanced. Maybe something like this?

Thanks Dan, looks good. Initial idea was to get as much decay as possible

I understand and can appreciate the cropped version. It's what I would expect for a crop, but in spite of that, I'm still drawn to the original. I don't see the left as empty space but as a secondary subject that draws my eyes. Just my view. Very interesting, Dubravka. I like it a lot.
