    Flexshooter Ballhead

Is anyone else using one? I mail ordered the mini from B&H as it doesn't seem to be sold in Canada. It appealed to me because it is light and promised both a tight lockdown for macro and smooth gimbal-like tracking for wildlife. I haven't yet had a chance to try it in gimbal mode (maybe this weekend), but so far it is living up to its promise of no creep when in lockdown, so much so that I am going to try focus stacking again. I downloaded the latest version of Helicon Focus and have some frames waiting in the camera to be downloaded and stacked. All that is needed is to make some room on my hard drive.

Pictures and description remind me of a product called Uniqball that I contemplated buying. That did not happen, I already had too many ballheads... I looked up the 2014 LuLa review: https://luminous-landscape.com/uniqball-review/ , but the Uniqball may not be related to your Flexshooter.

The Uniqball in fact appears to be a similar design.

There are reviews of the Flexshooter here and here.
