Not a skink
I put my 90mm macro lens on as I saw a skink on the path outside. Went out then noticed this King Parrot sitting in the shade on a low branch. It waited while I adjusted the ISO and as it realised I did not have the correct lens on allowed me to approach to less than 2 metres away. One of the most cooperative birds I have photographed.

What a beautiful bird and fantastic capture!! Before anyone critiques this, I have to say I really see no reason to change anything with this image.

Thank you all for your comments.
Note to Duc. It's a he.... the females have a mainly green head and the juvenile males start with a green head with small blotches of red that eventually spread to give them the red head as seen above.
