    Re: Reflection in water

Dubravka, I have captured a few reflections in water myself over the years. I find them fascinating. Yours is interesting and I rather like the colours reflecting a pleasant spring day.
My personal preference if it were my image would be to simplify the pallette by cropping away the lower third of the image. For me that would enhance the abstract element of the composition.Alternately I might consider cropping away the the left of the image.
The more I look at it though, the more it pleases me....

Reflections are really fascinating and very pleasing even on screen. I did a crop as you suggested but on the end decided to leave it as is. Something was lost and it looked incomplete. Nevertheless, thanks for support and nice words.

Cropping about half of the bottom brown area and a similar amount from the left side might be another idea to simplify the scene without losing too much. I agree that losing a third would be too much.

I think that 10 to 15mm off the bottom should do it. Not much but I do think that the bottom part of the image is too heavy in my view so by reducing it the image will be more balanced.

Cropped bottom and left side for about 10%. Looks good, I think
