Re: Only One
Hi,
Thanks Colin, will look froward to the results!
As for the diagonal lines in the grass, that is actually a leaf. (Close up shot that I can post later if you like).
My 'Photography is becoming increasingly more like digital artwork in the sense that it is becoming less 'real'.
But I like the results.
As for the centered thing, I don't know what it is but I have this urge to put the feature in the center. In this case the tree radiates root-like objects from it ( leaf ).
It kind of mesmerizes you!

Thanks Matt - I think it 'speaks success' for your abstract style that it was not immediately obvious to me that it was a manipulated composite
At present I think I am exploring the edges of making images abstract by omission of context; perhaps this approach may be a logical sequel

Re: Only One
Didn't use the photo of your frying pan this time eh Matt?
I really like the original, the photos contents look so soft. But I do want a silver tree

Re: Only One
Yea, that was a result of the HDR blending, as it was a windy day.

Re: Only One
My brother did this blending images and textures for his fine art masters degree some years ago. I have mixed views on its application so best keep quiet.
