The old Quechauan woman (I believe her clothes identify her as a widow), was sitting and observing a village festival celebrating a victory of the villagers over the Spanish conquistadors in the 16th Century.

I like it. The weathered wood and stone (?) background mirror her age, and the corkscrew of the metal pole is complimented by the wrinkles in her face.
