    Yet another old window

Revised to get rid of most of the artificial color cast:

This one isn't revolutionary-era. It's an abandoned roadside farm stand.

This one was in part a self-instructional effort. I tried to replicate in Photoshop what I wanted from the Nik tonal contrast filter. And I added the sepia tone because the wood was nearly colorless. I found a comparison of four methods for doing that, and I picked one (using a color balance layer) that affects colored areas but doesn't add brown tone to the neutral areas.

I think it's a little too tight on the left, but I'd have to reshoot to deal with that.

    comments welcome.

Great photo, although I do find the reflection in the main window a little distracting and just wonder whether its removal would add to this excellent image.

    thanks, all.

Chris, an interesting idea. I deliberately enhance reflections in some photos like this, but in this one, the reflection is indistinct enough that it might do more harm than good. I'll play with that.
