This crane is in a boatyard next to the Grand Union Canal in Hertfordshire:
The crane has lifted the old boat out of the canal and onto a platform, where a workman has begun its restoration.
The image is an inverted reflection from the surface of the water in the canal. Using the reflection not only gives an unusual image, but also eliminates most of the distracting background (trees, and the overhead wires and gantries of the mainline railway).
The capture was done using a hand-held Pentax K-5 IIs (an APS-C DSLR) with a Pentax 28-105 zoom lens at 48mm. Editing was done in PaintShop Pro 2021.
C&C welcome.
